I think these are the most amazing works of Surrealist art that I have seen come out of the 4th grade since I've been teaching elementary. I wish I was this talented when I was nine.
The kids studied Dali and Magritte. We also read a little from Alice in Wonderland. After that, they were told to come up with a surreal story of their own and to illustrate it visually in a collage. This is what they came up with....
